A New Approach to Travel for Brazil

The  Brazil Seaglider Initiative (BSI) is a consortium of local government, private sector, and community stakeholders working to increase awareness, understanding, and adoption of seagliders in Brazil.

Our mission is to understand and advocate for how seagliders can help Brazil modernize its maritime transportation network, expand economic opportunities, and support renewable energy infrastructure in ways that create a more convenient and reliable transportation network for passenger and freight.

Key Goals of the Brazil Seaglider Initiative

Advance Clean Energy Goal

Eliminate thousands of tons of carbon and GHG emissions every year, advancing towards Brazil's 2050 net-zero goal.

Education and Workforce Development

Train students and professionals to create an ecosystem of high-tech, high-paying jobs in Brazil's  economy.

Expanding Choice and Accessibility

Increase travel convenience and flexibility for residents while increasing access to remote regions.

BSI is a continuously evolving initiative.  We strive to structure the organization to best serve the community and commercial objectives we represent.

Initiative Stakeholders

BSI brings together local private, government, and nonprofit sector stakeholders across critical workspaces to further accelerate Brazil's energy resiliency and clean energy infrastructure through the adoption of seagliders.
